Buffalo Real Estate Lawyer Explains How Long Closing on a House Takes

As an experienced Buffalo Real Estate Lawyer, I am often asked how long it can take to close on a home or piece of property. If you are selling your house or property, a closing can generally take place within 60 days from the date of the contract of sale. The contract of sale has a period by which the purchaser is required to attain financing. I advise my clients as a Buffalo Real Estate Lawyer that you will be able to close from 30-60 days after the contract’s been signed. Remember, that the date set in the contract for closing is only a target date for closing and is not set in stone.
